Reynolds Park is a gorgeous place, great for a bit more secluded adventure, while still remaining close to Denver. Just a few miles South of Conifer on Foxton Rd, Reynolds Park offers a perfect destination for a quick escape into nature. With a lot of options for different distances, fantastic picnic tables along a stunning mountain creek, restrooms at the trailhead, and some fantastic views, Reynolds Park is a gem!
HERE is a map of the park to plan your route and distances. If you are looking for something real easy, you can do the Elkhorn Loop, less than 1 mile. If you are looking for a bit more of an adventure and some spectacular views, take the Raven's Roost Trail up to the Eagle's View Trail. This trail climbs a bit, but you are rewarded with some fantastic views of the peaks to the South. Loop back on the Oxen Draw Trail, which follows along a babbling brook and through some nice forest.
This is a great place that can be flexible. If some of your group wants to take it easy, they can do the easier loops and wait at the picnic tables by the trailhead as others take the longer hike up to the views on Eagle's View Trail. It is a perfect park for dogs, and for kids, but has the views and trails to impress even seasoned hikers!
