This is a fantastic hike to bring the doggos! It is a wide easier trail, and they love splashing in the water on a hot summer day! Be sure to clean up after them! There are trash cans near the parking lot.
There are a few picnic tables as well as trash cans and restrooms near the parking lot.
This hike is pretty close off of I-70 just outside Denver. Taking the Chief Hosa exit, you take aa right and drive down a wide well taken care of dirt road to a decent sized parking lot.
