Table Mountain in Golden is a perfect place to get away when you don't have a ton of time on your hands. The serene prairie on top of the mountain is full of wildlife and trails, great for all ages.

This is a great place to catch killer sunrises over Denver. With stunning views of the mountains, the skyline, and a plethora of wildlife, this is an ideal adventure for the whole family. There is a climb to actually get up to the mountain, but the mesa at the top is relatively flat and gorgeous!

Mountain biking is extremely popular at Table Mountain, you will be sharing the trail with cyclists. There is a rattlesnake population here, so always be aware of where you are stepping. There is no shade on this adventure so bring lots of water and sunscreen.

Enough with the cautionary stuff though, this is a gorgeous adventure and so close to Denver. With miles of trails, and an enormous wildlife population, this is a great escape from the city, while staying absurdly close to the city! For a map of the park click HERE!
